Mineral transactions

Mineral deals, properly structured

We provide a structured platform through which mineral buyers and sellers engage suitable counterparties, from first enquiry and verification to a completed transaction.

What we do

A clear process from enquiry to completion

Our role may include receiving and assessing mineral supply or purchase opportunities, collecting transaction information and documents, coordinating preliminary verification, identifying suitable counterparties and facilitating introductions.

We also coordinate communication between the parties, support commercial discussions, facilitate the exchange of documents, coordinate inspection, sampling, testing and assays where applicable, assist with logistics and monitor milestones through to completion. The exact services depend on the transaction and the mandate agreed with the client.

How it works

Five stages, every party aligned

  1. 01

    Initial enquiry

We start by understanding the seller's available mineral or the buyer's requirements: mineral type, quantity, quality, location, pricing expectations and delivery.

  2. 02

    Document submission

The relevant company, mineral, permit and mandate documents are collected for the transaction.

  3. 03

    Verification

We review the information supplied and coordinate the verification needed to establish a credible opportunity.

  4. 04

    Commercial negotiations

We present the opportunity to suitable counterparties, coordinate communication and facilitate negotiations.

  5. 05

    Payment and completion

Sampling, assay, inspection and logistics are coordinated and milestones tracked to a completed transaction.

Sellers and buyers

What we need from you

Seller process

Sellers should be ready to show the nature, source and availability of the material.

  • Registered company name, registration details and company profile
  • Mineral type, grade and quantity available
  • Production capacity, location and current stock
  • Packaging and availability
  • Licences or permits and proof of authority to sell
  • Assay reports, specifications and ownership documents

Buyer process

A clear purchase mandate lets us find opportunities that match your needs.

  • Mineral required and grade or specification
  • Monthly or annual quantity
  • Delivery location, preferred origin and schedule
  • Target pricing or pricing method
  • Payment terms
  • Inspection, assay and contract requirements

Verification is a core part of our process, but it does not guarantee that a transaction will be completed. Each party remains responsible for its own due diligence before entering into a binding transaction.

  • Initial verification of available ownership, permit, project and mineral documents
  • Investor matching by investment interest, capacity and strategy
  • Project and market information on the minerals, operations and potential commercial structure
  • Direct introductions to mine owners, project holders and stakeholders
  • Ongoing opportunity management as the deal progresses
  • Joint ventures, project investment, mineral off-take and equipment financing structures

Every opportunity remains subject to appropriate due diligence before any investment decision is made.

Questions

Mineral transactions FAQ

What should a mineral seller provide?

Your registered company name, registration details, contact person, business address and company profile, plus information about the mineral: type, grade, quantity available, production capacity, location, current stock or production status, packaging and availability. Where applicable, also licences or permits, proof of authority to sell, existing assay reports, product specifications and ownership or supply documentation.

What should a mineral buyer provide?

A clear purchase mandate: the mineral required, the grade or specification, the monthly or annual quantity, delivery location, preferred origin and delivery schedule, along with target pricing or pricing method, payment terms, inspection and assay requirements and the preferred contract duration.

What does verification involve?

Verification establishes whether the information a counterparty supplies can be reasonably supported by documents or independent checks. Depending on the transaction, we may ask for evidence of identity, company registration, authority to act, mineral source, production, quantity, quality, licensing, export permissions, existing contracts and financial or commercial capacity.

Does verification guarantee the deal will close?

No. Verification does not guarantee that a transaction will be completed. Each party remains responsible for its own due diligence before entering into a binding transaction.

Who can use the process?

Sellers such as mining companies, mineral producers, mineral rights holders, beneficiaries or authorised representatives, stockholders, aggregators, licensed traders and processing facilities; and buyers such as local and international mineral buyers, commodity traders, processors, smelters, refineries, manufacturers, industrial users, off-takers and investment or commodity groups.
